Incorporations

The main purpose of incorporating a company is that it will provide you with Limited Liability. In other words it separates your personal assets from that of the corporation. There are two types of corporations, Federal & Provincial. The differences are as follows:

  • A Federal company costs $200.00, and if it is a named company you will require a Nuans or name search at an additional cost of $21.00. Annual returns must be submitted each year at a cost of $20.00. To incorporate a federal named company there can be no other company in Canada with a similar name in the same activity.

  • A Provincial company costs $360.00, and if it is a named company the Nuans will cost an additional $60.00. The company does not have to be renewed and any name will be approved as long as there is no other company with exactly the same name.

If you use Stateside to apply for your Operating Authorities we will incorporate your company for only the cost of the government disbursements as outlined above.
